I wasn't sure if those were all "0s" (as in zero) or "o" (as in the letter oh). The number on the main chip says "MS2100E PBA-GKFLG0F 1835". When I opened up the case of my Eas圜AP (you can just pry it open) I noticed that the circuit board said V 2.0. I noticed that the disc that came with my Eas圜AP says it's Windows 10 compatible, and it says "Version 4.0a" while in the video above it says Version 2. I would love it if the solution was as easy as using a different USB cable. I rebooted my laptop into Windows 10 to test this out. "Easycap not working on windows 10." Super User. That is it just purchase a quality top of the line usb cable and your good to go. I thought it was the driver for a long time until it hit me try a quality usb cable. Get your self a top of the line usb cable and you are good to go.I had one lying around my home and tried it and it works great. The usb cable that attaches to it and then you plug the other end to the computer. It's not the drivers I finally figured it out. I tried running my Camcorder through the software and Hey Presto that worked a treat.I plugged the Eas圜AP into my computer at home running Ubuntu 18.04. On a Camcorder the RED/Yellow/White terminals are usually Output terminals but on a VHS Player they are usually always Input only !!. I had actually plugged the Red/Yellow/White leads into the INPUT terminals of the external VHS Player, when they should be plugged into the OUTPUT terminals of the external VHS Player/Camcorder. Then a major break through, some smarty pants made the comment about INPUTS & OUTPUTS, my prayers along with many others could have been answered ?. I like many before me, tried and I tried to get the image to play on the software "Capture" screen but all to no avail, I was pulling my hair out, I wasted two days on it, I finally decided that this product was a total load of rubbish and I had wasted my money and it had to go. ![]() Once all installed you can then connect your external device VHS Player/Camcorder etc to the Easycap device, using the Red/Yellow/White leads. ![]() Go back to CD and "install the Uplead Software", you then have to Restart the computer. Right Click "My Computer" "Properties" "Hardware" "Device Manager" check "Imaging Device" (which is where my STK1150 Driver was installed) and make sure it has no yellow exclamation mark next to it. Once USB Driver has been installed then plug in the Easycap USB Device, windows should then detect the new device, to make sure:- 5. Click on "Install Driver" (this only installs the USB 2 drivers so that the computer can see the device) Make sure you do not attach the Easycap Device before you have installed the USB Driver (as above). Placed the installation CD (that came with the product) back in the CD drive. I Un-installed the software and restarted the computer. ![]()
